There are many cars that use this two eared type spinners
Here are pictures of my 1966 Lotus Elan coupe and my first tools.
My first attempt to eliminate the hammer.
I purchased this one. But the tips bent under torque and cut into the spinner’s finish and did not work well.
After a museum wall of failures of trying to protect the spinner with copper wraps and early leather wraps. I came up with a very simple Lotus Elan tool that had leather protecting the spinner’s finish and could take the torque. They are still available with Ray at RDenterprises
My second tool was to quiet the demand for a two eared spinner tool. After another museum wall of failures, I came up with a very complicated 13 part pieces to make and assemble. It was way too expensive to make and assemble for each new run, but worked. California fires distroyed all of our equipment to make any more tools.
Next was a three eared Cobra/GT40 spinner tool that also fit the early Lotus Elan 26R racing spinners. Jay Leno featured a video showing how it worked on his Cobra and Elan.
Currently replacing the old Corbra/GT40 Halibrand type spinner tool with a new tool that could handle the long threaded of Hubs.
The Cobra/GT40 tool comes with a 46mm impact socket to be able to take the torque of over tighten spinners, is leather wrapped to protect any mental to metal contact, with a wheel chock, and a tool storage bag. It is important to use anti-seize to stop gulling.
These are the two eared 42mm size knockoff spinners that fit many other cars
